CAR WRAP

FAQ

Q.

A.

I want my vehicle wrapped. What does that cost?

When we wrap your business' vehicle, the price is determined by the amount of material used, labor for expertly installing the wrap, and the amount of time our skilled graphic designers use to create your wrap. For general ballpark pricing, please see our coverage pricing.

Q.

A.

How long is the process? Can it be done same day?

On average, the time for a wrap or signage is around 1 - 2 weeks. A majority of time is spent during correspondence with our graphic designers. The length of this process depends on the number of changes and the complexity of your design. After your art is approved and a 50% deposit is paid, we will preprint your graphics before your scheduled install date to minimize downtime/loss of use of your vehicle. Your vehicle will be scheduled for installation usually one week out from the time of approval.

A.

Can my wrap be removed later?

Yes! We install your wrap using heat and pressure-sensitive adhesives that can be removed by our talented installers. The removal time can vary depending on how old the vinyl is, the brand of vinyl, and condition of your vehicle.

Q.

A.

How long will the vinyl last?

The Empire Process has been developed over the last 15 years to help ensure clients get the longest life out of the 3M products used to wrap your vehicle. Once the vehicle has left the shop things such as exposure to the sun, the weather, and the condition of your vehicle,  care and maintenance of your vehicle will determine the life of your wrap. Typically, we like to tell our clients to expect the wrap to last 3 years. 3M warranties do apply to all of our wraps. We only use professional high-quality auto wrap vinyl manufactured by 3M, Avery, and Oracal. Our installers also laminate the vinyl prior to installation which acts as a protective layer against chips, scratches, and scrapes.

Q.

A.

What don't you wrap?

Certain things we do not recommend wrapping. Repainted vehicles, certain plastic body panels, primed vehicles.  Vinyl does not adhere well to these surfaces. We do not wrap hubcaps/rims, or certain mirrors. We can wrap plastic bumpers but we cannot guarantee that the vinyl will adhere for a long duration on your vehicle.

Q.

A.

Can I change information on my vehicle after it's wrapped?

Yes. If you change your phone number, address, or website we can add a vinyl "patch" that overlays on top of your wrap.

Q.

A.

How do I wash my wrap?

We recommend hand-washing your wrapped vehicle. Pressure washing and car washes are not recommended for washing as they may shorten the life of your vehicle wrap
